tmoro projects is an independent, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a catalyst for contemporary art. Located in Bayview, San Francisco, tmoro projects seeks to enrich our community through a range of contemporary art exhibitions and public programs. We are run entirely by Bay Area artists, scholars and students, and are not affiliated with any commercial partners.
We consider our commitment to the arts an important service to the community. The recent economic boom and bust has served some parts of the economy extremely well. Yet, many contemporary galleries have closed down as a result of rising costs in the SF Bay Area. Artists —especially emerging artists— have suffered as a result of lack of opportunities to showcase their work. tmoro projects is proud to serve as a valuable and viable venue to showcase contemporary artworks made in the SF Bay Area.
